Hello there~ sorry it’s been a while!
Have your heard of Blue Apron? I decided to give it a try after reading about this company on several blogs. I also felt like we were preparing the same recipes week after week, and needed to try something different. Perhaps it ‘s the harsh winter we have had, combined with my lack of imagination when it comes to cooking!
Here’s what comes in your order:
All fresh ingredients packed on ice. We ordered the 2 person plan.
They send you just enough for each meal. In our case, we get 3 dinners per week.
They send a recipe card with easy-to-follow recipe cards. Each recipe takes about 25 – 30 minutes to prepare.
The above picture shows our first meal and it was delicious.
I’ll keep you posted, but this may be just what we needed to add some variety to our dinner menu.
Has anyone else tried this? Please share:)
Have you been searching for steals and deals lately?
Here are some fashion finds I’m liking:
The sweater, dress, and blouse are from here. They are having 40% off this weekend.
I like the Sorel snow boots – especially the black laces. They can be found here.
The Lindsey Plate Frye boots are on different websites, but can be found here.
Happy weekend to you! Hope you are staying warm and toasty.
While I was doing my usual Saturday morning chores, I decided to update a few little areas. I’m still organizing and arranging, as many of us do in January, but these two ideas were easy and under 15 minutes.

Oh, how I have enjoyed this break. Taking time to organize and prepare for this past holiday made it especially enjoyable. I plan to carry this idea over into 2015. Life is not always predictable, neat, or organized.
So, when I come home, it helps me to relax and unwind if I have systems in place that help me to manage all the “stuff” that life throws at you.
